Description
Laetiporus sulphureus - (Chicken of the wood) - a well-known and often collected edible mushroom. Especially young fruiting bodies are great to eat. We grow on hardwood sawdust enriched with wheat bran in a ratio of 10-30% by weight of dry substrate and inorganic substances such as gypsum, dolomite, chalk and sugar in various proportions from 10-30g per 1kg of dry substrate. The fungus grows at temperatures of 21-28 ° C and the fruiting body is formed at 21-25 ° C. The formation of fruiting bodies must be induced by the shock temperature - by placing an overgrown bag with substrate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. However, we do not open the bags, they are subject to mold very quickly, but we leave them closed and the fruiting bodies grow through the filter on the bag, which must touch the substrate. Suitable for experienced growers and people who like to experiment.
Packaging: 10 ml of liquid mycelium and 1 sterile needle.
Storage: 4-5 months at room temperature, or 10-12 months in the refrigerator

I would like to grow Sírovec on logs or stumps, I want to ask if it is a classic procedure like with mushrooms, ie. that I first inoculate the wheat and then the logs? Do you have any experience?

Hello, I recommend growing sulfur with the help of seedling pegs, not wheat. This year I also inoculated sulfur on an ash log, but we will know the result only next year, but for now the undergrowth is growing nicely. You can find a video on how to make planting stakes and how to vaccinate here:
