Description
Grifola frondosa- Maitake is a highly prized fungus, it occurs very rarely in the wild. It has an excellent and delicious taste, it is popular in Chinese cuisine. Known in traditional Chinese medicine, it has a number of beneficial effects on the human body. The fungus grows at temperatures of 21-24 ° C and fruiting bodies are formed at a temperature of 13-18 ° C. It is grown on hardwood sawdust. After the undergrowth has grown, we do not open the bag, we leave it until the primordia begin to form (approx. 3-4 months). Then we move the bag into the fruiting room but do not open it whole, leaving only a small slit open, thus supporting the branching and growth of larger fruiting bodies and preventing excessive evaporation of water from the substrate. Ideal humidity: 85-90%. In the wild, it can produce fruiting bodies weighing up to 40 kg.
Packaging: 10 ml of liquid mycelium and 1 sterile needle.
Storage: 4-5 months at room temperature, or 10-12 months in the refrigerator
